Description
Balparmak Turkish Pine honey is made by bees from the tree saps of Pine trees in the Aegean region of West Turkey. Unlike typical honey which is made from flower nectar, bees make this pine honey from honeydew, a sticky liquid secreted by aphids thattap on pine tree sap for their food. The dark colour of the honey boasts strong tasty flavours and a rich caramel aroma. Pine honey is also rich in antioxidants, minerals and is slow to crystallize.
Balparmak has been delivering healthy, natural and delicious honey to consumers since it was founded in 1980. The company pioneered the development of Turkey’s honey industry and now operates a 30,000 square meter facility with an annual packing capacity of 32,000 tons. Balparmak produces all of its products in facilities that operate in accordance with international standards, implementing the BRC and FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management Systems as well as the ISO 9001 Quality Control System and Halal certification.
